Kids on Collins is located in the beautiful McPherson Building at 546 Collins St on Levels 4 & 5. Recently refurbished, the Centre boasts state-of-the-art facilities. Our two roof top gardens offer the children the opportunities to play and learn in beautiful outdoor environments among the hustle and bustle of Collins St. The Team at Kids on Collins loves to explore new ideas that further enhance the learning outcomes of the children. It is our aim to ensure that children leave our Centre ready for the next phase in life as confident, eager and engaged learners.
Kids on Collins offers both 3 and 4 year old funded Kinder Programs, facilitated by bachelor trained teachers. Our Kinder Programs encourage a love of learning through play and group collaboration. Emphasis is placed on school readiness, aiming at ensuring your child is socially, emotionally and academically ready for primary school.

Jennifer Farrell
Jennifer Farrell is the Centre Director at Kids on Collins. Jenn joined the Kids on Collins team in 2006 as a Room Leader and over the years has worked her way to the role of Centre Director. With a background in Montessori Teaching and Social Work, She have been able to fully immerse herself and contribute to the learning journeys of the children and educators. Jenn is dedicated to creating nurturing environments where children thrive and develop essential skills that they will take with them throughout their lives. She believes in working collaboratively with the team at Kids on Collins, demonstrating best practice, providing support and guidance throughout all aspects of the industry and encouraging continuous improvement among the team. Jenn believes that a strong understanding of pedagogical principles is essential for creating rich learning environments for children and continually encourages her team to engage in reflective practice and professional development opportunities.
Jenn is passionate about cultivating strong partnerships with families, encouraging them to be actively involved in their child's learning journey, soliciting feedback and collaborating on shared goals for their child's development and well-being. She believes in fostering an inclusive and culturally responsive community that celebrates diversity, respects individual differences and promotes a sense of belonging for all children and families.

Each dedicated infant room is a comfortable place filled with nurturing surroundings and loving care. Our program offers each child one-on-one and group activities, gentle play and safe exploration. It’s stimulating to the development of young minds without being overwhelming.

Kinder funding is deduced from this amount for children enrolled in our Funded Kinder Program

- All of our meals are checked by Nutrition Australia to ensure that children are meeting their nutritional needs on a daily basis.
- Nappies, sunscreen, sunhats, cot/bed linen are all provided by the Centre.
